Wild strawberries?

We want to let our flock free range and we have what looks like tiny strawberries growing everywhere. I was wondering if anyone knows what these plants really are and if they are safe for chickens.

More likely than not they are wild strawberries. Chickens will eat them but they are not as sweet as the domestic versions.
