Wild Turkey

I have a wid turkey that has lived in a brooder with 4 baby peacocks. I think 2 pairs of India blues. They sleep on top of each other. I do not know what sex the turkey is. Will they mate if I leave them together until they are 1 or older?

Are you asking if the turkey will mate with the peacock or vice versa?

ermmm... I have no clue.. but I would think not.


That would be one ugly bird ...lol
Unless.. thats the same as a Vulturine Guinea ?

I had a peahen who returned from brooding in the woods. She had 2 peachicks and one wild turkey chick with her. The gobbler grew huge and after a few months decided to be a cock, I obtained a hen for him but she was too young and he got the call of the wild and left us, he was incredibly beautiful but showed no interest in the peafowl other than buddying up with another young male. I too wondered if they would cross breed but I didn't have the heart to shut him in a pen....he belonged 'out there'
