Wild Turkeys - can they pass on disease to my chickens/guineas?

We have a Tom Turkey who is coming daily to hang out with our free-range chickens and guineas (and of course take advantage of the scratch feed). We enjoy having him around, but can he pass on disease to my birds?

Do some research on blackhead disease. It is a possibility, but varies in its prevalence regionally. Lots of folks have both.

Also, they can pass on lice and mites.
