All over my neighborhood there are wild quail that live naturally. They often wander through my backyard on their way to places... I’m so excited because it’s baby season soon! I love the sight of a mama and dad quail leading around a dozen little bumble bee babies! I snapped some pictures of a pair, sorry, the photos aren’t the best quality!

Very cool!

I've never seen quail wild around here. Some people have released them in the past(getting permits etc) but I don't think you can even do that now.

My Dad has told me stories about how Bobwhites used to be along all the fence lines etc but most of the fence lines have been taken out and the quail were hunted. I wish that was a sight I could see.

I raise coturnix but they don't go broody and raise chicks. It sure would be cute though.
