Will a broody take a chick??

Will my Brody hen take a chick that my other hen did not hatch out completely?

For more information the egg pipped but the mom had already left the nest. The egg was getting cold and not making much progress so I placed it under my other Brody and it hatched! I am just not sure if she will want it...

Generally hens will readily foster other chicks. This can be breed dependent and affected by how long the hen has been broody. Silkies, especially hens who have raised chicks before, generally accept chicks quite readily.
