Hello all,
This may be a dumb question but oh well.
Will hens still breed while they are broody and sitting on a nest of eggs? I have a couple silver laced wyondottes I let free range and rome the yard one has become very broody and won't leave the coop. She has been this way for about a week. I have a golden laced wyondotte rooster that is locked in a separate coop. I am wondering if I move him in with her will they still breed. As of now the eggs she is sitting on are not fertile because she is not with a rooster. Let me know what ya think.
Thanks, Shane
