Will a duck sit on chicken eggs?

i have a duck that has been broody for a month now and she won't stop, I don't have a drake for her so no fertilized eggs, can she sit on chicken eggs? I know she will sit on them but will she raise them?

The issue comes in to play when she hatches them. If she tries to take them swimming they will most likely die.

She won't be able to take them swimming, I will have her in the broody kennel

Good point about the water issue. You could always raise them in a brooder tho yourself once they hatch.
