Will a flock block attract ants?

I am considering getting the purina flock block for my hens, but it contains molasses, and I am worried it might attract ants? I have had large problems with ans in the past as well.

Also, it would be sitting on dirt.

We just tried one of these. The chickens seem to like it, but we're not crazy about it. It smells kind of sharp, like vinegar. It also kills the grass it sits on.....

My hens love their Flock Block. I haven't had an ant problem, but the hens eat up every ant they can find, so they are pretty scarce. I just leave about two inches of the wrapper all the way around the bottom so it doesn't kill the grass or get damp. The hens seem happy with it.

I used one a few winters back to give them something to do. I'm not a big fan of getting another. One thing I would do is put a bucket over it if it rains. You don't want it to get moldy. Dang things are hard as a rock. I now put leaves in their run in the winter & throw some boss on the leaves this keeps them busy plus the boss has more protein than the flock block.

I use theflock blocks when i am going to be going away and they wont be out free ranging so they have something to do, Mine love it and i have had no problems with ants.
