Will a goose protect my ducks?

i don't think it matters on the sexes just as long as they have one of their own, i read an article once that told how a woman had a couple sets of ganders and geese but over time the geese both died and the ganders (the males) bonded with each other and were not interested when she brought in new geese (females) they were just happy with each others company.

i have the heavy chinees geese and they are very loud but friendly twards people and very social but they are fearless they put the run (or try to lol they are still young and not yet full grown ) on my 115 pound rottweilers giggle giggle

I like this idea. I think I will get a goose too.
