Hi guys. Today marks the 27th day of my turkey eggs in the hatcher. They have been in the hatcher since day 25. When I got up this morning, I found a chick was able to free itself outside the egg. Upon closer look, I saw an army of red ants eating the chick! I quickly opened the incubator to help the chick but it eventually died because too many ants had bitten it. I even saw some ants coming out of its nose. I decided to clean the hatcher and set aside the eggs in a container while I was cleaning. I think it took me more than 30 mins to clean as there were too many ants inside my bator. After cleaning, I candled the eggs and put them back inside. Some chicks have interally pipped. Some eggs are totally dark. After stablizing the temp and humidity, I once again opened the bator to check if the ants came back an I was surprised a lot of them remained inside! To cut the story short, I once again cleaned the bator and put it on top of a pan surrounded by water. Now I’m worried if my eggs will still hatch. I took good care of them the whole incubation process only to find ants ruining my efforts at the last stage. What a luck! Can someone please tell me if they will still hatch?

Thank you. Truly appreciate your help and advice.
