We were considering breeding my girl to get little babies. But were not sure if it will change her personality. Will it make her mean, nasty, lazy, loud, quiet, etc...? What is going to happen to her?

Mating has never changed a hen around here. Sometimes pullets get cranky coming into point of lay, and that's the same time they start looking good to the roosters, but they'd be cranky even if there were no males.

Is there a way (since we are not aloud to have roosters in our neighborhood) to "breed" our chickens some where else? And fi so, how much do you think it will cost? I have bantoms.

Probably not a good idea. Diseases and parasites could be transferred to your birds, or vice versa. I know of no one who offers chicken stud service. You are better off buying hatching eggs.

Since you can't have roosters where you are what will you do with the cockerels that hatch?

We donate them back to a chicken farm/ranch/breeder. Do you know of any breeder with babies. We went to Norco.
