Will chicken forgive me?

I was rounding up my chickens to put in the coop. They were being exeptionally fussy today and I accidentally hit the chicken i was trying to catch with my foot.

It squawked loudly and ran away crying. I felt really sorry and it was on accident. I tried to give it worms and cherries- its favorite snacks- but it refused to eat. Will it forgive me? And also, it looks okay, but could it be injured?

In my opinion, the only thing that's injured is your chicken's pride. If you hit her in the bottom or something, she is probably offended and being a bit stubborn. She might be a little sore, but she will forgive you. Be extra nice to her tmw.
