Will chickens drink from hanging water bottle??

Will chickens drink from the hanging water bottles that are used for gerbils, guinea pigs, etc? Like this:

Yes they will. I use water bottles on my penned birds. Especially in the summer time when I want to be sure everyone has plenty of water. It is a natural instinct to peck. Hang it and watch. It should take no time at all. If they don't get nosy right off. Tap the top of the bottle. The noise gets their attention and they will go and investigate. Hope this help and good luck.
