I have 2 girls who are about 9 1/2 months old. My buff started laying about 3 months ago and my black cochin just layed her first egg earlier this week. I'm just wondering... I know the girls are only about half the size they'll grow to be, so will the eggs get bigger as they grow? Or do they typically stay the same size as the first couple months worthy they lay?

Yes, pullets will lay smaller eggs.

According to Gail Damerow in Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens at 30 weeks old, your pullet will be laying her normal size egg.

ETA: I put this page together with a bunch of links, on it there is a chart that shows the relative egg sizes.
