Hey all...
I've read that lights at night can throw off the breeding cycle of ganders. So, my porch faces my coop (I live out in the boonies, so it's DARK-dark). The coop's about 50ish feet away from the house. My boys want to put up Christmas lights on the porch (we usually do every year.)
So, my question...will Xmas lights, left on, till say...10-11pm cause problems with the gander? They are all white lights (if that matters). It won't be a huge loss if we can't put up lights...but I don't want to go ahead and then have problems later. The gander has a shed that he shares with my muscovies...but he won't go into the coop.
Just looking for advice. Thanks.
