Will duck ever lay again?

I have a mallard cross duck hen I got at the beginning of June. About 2 days after bringing her home she broke her leg. I’m guessing she was injured by the rooster or the drake chasing her or she got her leg hung and broke it trying to get loose. She laid an egg every morning before her traumatic injury but hasn’t laid since. Could she ever lay again or did the event traumatize her to where she will never lay again. This is the first time having a hen duck.

She may very well not lay until spring.

My ducks aren't laying right now either, it is common for ducks not to lay during fall and winter. I haven't had a mallard before, but I believe they aren't prolific egg layers.

Stress can also reduce egg production. If she's being harassed by too many males perhaps that is affecting her reproductively. What kind of male/female ratio do you have?
