Will egg colors get darker??

Some hatcheries DEFINITELY breed for egg color. But like others have said, it's not something every hatchery or every breeder prioritizes so you kind of have to do your research.

These are Tractor Supply chicks?!? We weren't impressed with our TS chicks. Bought a straight run and ended up with 6 of 8 roosters...learned our lesson with the straight run. Beautiful eggs though!!

Thank you! I bought straight run too I ended up with 2 pullets 1 rooster.
