My daughter has been obsessing over getting the Eglu Cube for our few hens for about a year now. Our current coop was purchased from Amazon 6 or 7 years ago, when we got our first 3 chicks, and it's a bit worse for wear after years of Maryland humidity and scorching summers and icy, windy winters. My daughter asked family to just put $ in her savings account as the Cube is all she wants for a birthday present this year (it's sort of a combined Xmas present too!). I didn't order during the March sale as our small circle of family members were all initially hesitant to 1. give cash instead of a gift and 2. support a $1,000 coop; but we now have the money together for the coop and some length of run (length depends on how many other extras such as winterization blanket and food bowls we'll get)-- yay.
My question is, does anyone out there have a sense of when the next sale might be? I would hate to pay full price if Omlet is going to have an Easter sale soon, or what have you. Anyone know what kind of sales they've done in previous springs? Or summer, or fall? I know most places have great coop prices in the fall, so we could wait a bit longer if we'd save some decent moolah, but naturally my 11-year-old is eager to just get the coop already and start enjoying it!!
