Will Fly Bait granules hurt chickens if they eat the dead flys?

Would they eat the bait? I am also afraid of using it in a container incase some falls out or gets wet and pours on the ground etc.... or if my chickens eat the dead flys. Anyone have experience using it.....

I would not let the chickens near it or eat the dead flies...it is poisonous.
