Will geese harm baby ducklings?

I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a small farm with ducks, geese, chickens and guineas. They are all free range and roam our yard and creek. My 2 mama ducks had 16 babies in the last couple days and I am concerned about how the 2 male geese are acting toward the mama ducks. I do enclose the ducks and ducklings at night and when they go out of the enclosure, the adult geese (one toulouse and one chinese, i think both males) go after the mama ducks, like they are trying to protect the babies?!! I also have a female toulouse sitting on a nest. Should I pen up the geese for a while or will the geese eventually quit chasing the mamas. I just don't want the ducklings getting hurt. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Yes, geese will definitely go after ducklings. Really, they will go after just about anything, especially something new introduced into their territory. I would watch them closely or separate them. I have seen geese do some pretty vicious things.

True but I have had Ganders that babysit ducklings when there were no goslings for them to parent. Drakes are a different story I have never had one that wanted anything to do with his ducklings
