I have some of my chickens indoors to have the light and temp better to lay. I am trying to get an earlier start this year. Can I bring some guineas in my garage also and put in cages to get them to lay sooner? Tried to search and did not find anything. Thanks for any help.

Yes they will. Mine laid their eggs in the hens nests. Yes you can bring them inside and cage them.

I never had the guineas lay indoors in the hens nests. They roost at night with the hens. Since I have them for roaming the property for bug and tick patrol (which they excel at) they always nest in the brushpiles and fields. The raccoons usually get the hen at night while sitting on the nest.
