Will he ever crow?

So my transgender cockerel (we call him that becuase hee has certainly taken his time deciding what he is) Roosty is a lavender orpington and is now about 22-23 weeks old.

I have no other roosters and 1 younger cockerel (about 10-11 weeks)

Im starting to feel as though he might never crow, or maybe he just doesn't want to. I did see him cream his neck once like he was going to try but no sound came out.

I do know I have a hen dominate flock. With all off my hens being 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years old plus and 3 very bossy head hens.

My rooster has not yet started mating, he has already proven to be a slow bloomer, at least in his feather development. I really do want him to start crowing.

No worries. I have a Caitlyn and a Jenner pair of red birds because they look & act-like males but are female.

I've taken so many pics of him over the last 11 weeks it's not even funny but here are some of the more recent. He was origanally voted as a pullet but has changed a lot in just the last 2 weeks

I wish, 2 years I couldn't have roosters. We Just moved to the country I want a rooster that will sing to his ladies

He’s very handsome! I couldn’t wait for my first boy to crow so I played him several YouTube videos on my phone for him lol it took a week or two but his first crow was on Christmas last year.

He is already a handsome boy! Orpington's are known for being docile. He's just a sweetie taken his good'ol time maturing. When that other cockerel starts to crow, he'll either have to crow or get used to being #2. Maybe he'll end up being a lap rooster! Hey, don't laugh - I had two! Ha-ha-ha! Oh, and by the way my #2 didn't crow till he was almost a year old. Then, only occasionally...because my #1 would give him a peck, shut up!

I don't think at this piont i could very wish him to not crow. But that is unless I get a night crower like my friend had. She didn't know becuase she was so use to all the chicken sounds, but we stayed out there one night and i kid you not he crowed ever hour on the hour all night along. Well at least that's what it felt like...
