Will I need to clip my Buff Orpington ducklings' wings when fledged?

Hi - I'm new to the domestic duck world and have inherited 2 x Buff Orpington ducklings. We plan on letting them down on the dam through the day and penning them of a night but I want to know whether we'll need to clip their wings once fledged to keep them from flying off? Or will they know this is home and stick around? We're used to native duck patterns so domestic ducks are a new world for us.

Thanks to anyone that can share some of their wisdom

Oh no, no - goodness no!

It will not be necessary to clip their wings. My first ducks were Buffs; they don't fly too much. At least, they will never really fly any farther than the occasional short bursts of flight at a few feet high. They do not have the proper body type for serious flight.

Hope you enjoy your new ducks! (I'm sure you will!

Thanks very much guys for getting back to me. Common sense should have prevailed really when I read your answers but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Very grateful for your replies.

Cheers.
