Something decapitated her from the other side of the fence

I assume her head was dragged thru the fence?

I don't exactly know the time of day it happened because I was at school and I only went out at dark to put them to bed. Her body was cold when I found it and the wind didn't cary the feathers very far so I would guess it happened at around sunset, but it couldve been before that. The fencing was very wide probably 2 square inches per hole, but we've fixed it since the incident with steel mesh (1/2 square centimeter holes). my guess is that her head was grabbed from the outside and the predator tried getting her out but couldn't get her body through the fence.
