Will lead hen quit pecking out all the feathers?

I have Golden Laced Cochin Bantams. #1 hen is 8 months, so are the others, will she stop pecking off their beautiful tail feathers or is this forever. Can I separate her from the flock for a while and she will stop? Please help. These are such beautiful birds. I recently put them in a pen, plenty large enough, but she is separated from the EE that she really tortured. That poor girl has 0 tail feathers!!! She thought that her rooster was trying to peck her instead of breeding. Things have calmed down a bit for her though. PLEASE HELP!

Yes, separate her. For at least a week. This resets her down to the bottom of the pecking order and may solve it, unless she gets to the top again and starts all over. If she does that, I'd sell her. Personally I'm done with messing with troublesome birds.
