Hey everyone I have ringneck chicks and was wondering something. I know the females won't lay eggs all year long, but will the males mate the females all year long?

I've never seen mine breed in season, but I do get fertile eggs. The males seem to show off to their ladies alot,so who knows?Either way,you won't get eggs from them until spring.
In N.H.,Tony.

Only in spring with my ringnecks perhaps the hens were in the mood as temprature went up ????
They seem to preserve their energy in the winter just moving around feeders and water then back to roost and look at the snow falling
The cocks will try to kill each other as they reach maturity if too confined
Good Luck with your guys and gals
