Hi everyone. I know mallards fly, but will they stay in the area where their owner raised them? Or will they go find new homes?
Thanks
Thanks

Domestic mallards should stay as they don’t migrate. My mallards don’t fly around often, and they hang out in certain parts of the property when let out.Hi everyone. I know mallards fly, but will they stay in the area where their owner raised them? Or will they go find new homes?

Bet its funny when those fat bottom pekins try to keep up!I have had a mallard for 1.5 years now. he can fly very well but stays in the yard. he has 2 pekin ducks that he grew up with that cant really fly so they may tend to keep him where he is.
YES.... Yes it is. They get so pissed off when the mallard can fly outside the pen and they are left looking through the chicken-wire at him having the run of the yard.Bet its funny when those fat bottom pekins try to keep up!
