i was wondering if a breed a silkie moorhead silver partiridge rooster to a silkie buff create a black head white silkie?

It says silver quail but I'm not sure if that's how they'd actually look.
At any rate the offspring you want to breed from will be vanishingly rare.
Though you will get some interesting birds to be sure. Including some lakenvelder looking Silkies.
At least they will all be Silkies instead of trying to breed another variety in.

It's the same thing. Silver is the name of the gene. White is what you see in the feathers.
