So I have a black silkie rooster, a white silkie hen, and a buff silkie hen. I know that when breeding my black rooster with my white hen, the chicks will all come out black because the black is dominant and the white is recessive. But, when breeding my black rooster with my buff hen, what color chicks will come out? will they also be black or both? Here are pictures of my silkies just because. 😇

Hi, pretty chickens!

Buffs can only be created from two buffs. If you breed your buff to a black rooster, my guess is you'll get some black perhaps and the rest will be a surprise, but no buffs.
