Just curious if anyone has tried this?
Success?:jumpy
I know muscovy females are great sitters and layers, considering giving them goose eggs this next season...:wee

They will sit on anything if broody which generally isn't an issue. Not sure how long it takes for a goose egg to hatch though.

28 days give or take a day. And yes Muscovy will sit and hatch. My Muscovy female sat a goose egg and he is now 14 yrs old.
Awesome! I figured it would *probably* work just fine but I just wanted to ask because I figured someone has already tried it somewhere 😆
Thank you kindly 🙏🏽

Depending on size of your Muscovy I’d limit eggs to 2 my female was only about 4lb she only sat one. That was over 14 yrs ago she’s gone but he’s still kicking. I didn’t know at the time it was better to put 2-3 eggs under them.
