Will my call ducks get any bigger?

I kinda have more than 20…. I have 20 full size and 18 ducklings. The ducklings just don’t live with the ducks yet. We have 5 acres and an old barn. The ducks have a 10’x20’ indoor pen and then a water porch and free range. I can winter over up to 40 easily. But I’m not positive how many I’ll keep. Time will tell.
I love my calls… but mom doesn’t so I’m not getting any more. They are SO cute! They are too loud for mom though.

I live on 5 acres too and have an old barn but a while ago we were storing a bunch of stuff for someone then he just randomly moved away and asked if we wanted to keep it all because he didn’t want it anymore so now our barn is full of stuff we don’t really want. I would love to turn it into a duck, though it could house about 80 ducks. That would be my dream. That’s cool. You have so many ducks. Do you have any pictures of the barn they live in? Sorry don’t know if this is to much I just love seeing the stuff other duck keepers use.

Pictures yes. Good pictures… not so much. I have great pics of the goat areas Here’s what I have. The barn houses 10 goats as well, and has hay storage and a milking area.

Wooooow!!! Beautiful ducks and goose! Very nice duck house! May I ask where you got your goose? I’ve been trying to get a gosling for a while, but everywhere is sold out. What breed is he/she? Very pretty!

Thanks. My brother in law built the porch for me. It’s been a lifesaver.
The goose is a Sebastopol/chinese from a local breeder. I got 11 ducklings from her last year (Cayuga and one welsh and 2 blue swedish drakes). The next week she asked if I wanted the goose as the buyer backed out. So I decided to try it. And she’s super sweet and lays yummy eggs.

That’s so cool! I’ve been trying to get a goose for so long. I’ve ordered eggs all came rotten and I’ve checked every hatchery there is all are sold out. guess I won’t be getting one till next year.

Sorry you haven’t been able to find one. Have you checked Craigslist? I see them on there all the time. I’m not sure I’d ever want to brood one again… they are so messy! Like way way worse than ducks. But I do like her.

I have checked craigslist so far all I can find is goslings in Arizona… I’m in Colorado. I should probably check again soon though. I’ve heard gosling can be messy, but I’ve also heard that they love you forever. My ducks don’t really like me except for the calls.
