On Monday night its going down to -13 with wind chills -40, My chickens and ducks live in a small barn like house that's not insulated it just keeps the winds out. We don't often have temps this cold and do you think my chickens and ducks will be safe???

Chickens are 1 year old

Ducks are 4 Months

They should be fine, mine have survived -20 before, the only thing you should be concerned about would be frostbitten combs(only if you have roosters) and you'll want to check if there are any drafts in the coop because that'll be what hurts em most.

I don't have rooster so I should be okay. The ducks sit on the frozen hay/poop from the coop since they don't perch, will they be okay? The only draft is from the door that's not closed all they way because it's frozen. It seems the ducks and chickens keep each other warm so I think everything should be good, but they never been threw this cold of temps.
