Will my chickens use these nesting boxes?

No...I have plans for a roost space in the big living space? The apartment is just a closed off apartment. These 'drawings' really explain nothing. It's a 6x10 building... frame...with a roof...
I'm going to put my roosting bar high up along the wall opposite the boxes/apartment/storage space...
And these are still just ideas.

I would turn the nesting boxes to the side like traditional boxes, you would need 3. You could the nest boxes under the roosts and poop board. Right on the floor.....
Are you planning a poop board? If not, put an angled roof on the nest boxes. Poop will roll off... for the most part.

Heres a picture I found... Maybe this would help

Here's a drawing of the outside of my coop. I drew this one on a paper bag....

Thanks for all the tips!

It's already framed up, I'm just trying to figure out where to put things and maximize the usable space. I like the dummy egg idea, that may work. I have 3 pullets but I'm building for like...10 or so. There's no setup yet just a space.

This is what I'm thinking. Sorry for the dumb pics.
I love y'all Canadians! So dang polite! :love Plus y'all invented Poutine and Hockey and everybody drinks beer at the local hockey rinks! Heaven if you ask me!

Good luck!

Eh! So you like hockey and poutine ? ... even the beer is cheaper in Quebec. Maybe you should move to Quebec!
Love Hockey and Poutine, upgraded from Beer to Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky when I hit the big 50 a number of years ago! Easier on weight management! HA

Great times in Quebec. Our youngest son played US Juniors and his team took 2 Canadian tournament trips that we were fortunate to attend. Montreal, Three Rivers to Quebec City. Both years the finals were played on Dec 30th in Quebec City so we got to ring in the New Year in QC. What a great time.

:thumbsup But this Southern US boy has way too many firearms for Canadian laws, plus my chickens are warm blooded sisssies! But great people in Canada in my book!
