So I just received 30 quail eggs in the mail ( :D :D :D ). I have a NR 360 and then the crappiest incubator you have ever seen. Got it cheap on amazon with seemingly good reviews (the top three were 5 stars and looking back were obviously fake, all the rest were doo doo but I didn't see them as you have to click two more links to find them). Anyways, the one incubator will not get over 30% humidity. I have a little slow hatcher in my other incubator so I can't use it for maximum 3 days (its at 70% humidity without a turner). So my question is will my quail eggs be alright being in the crap incubator for a few days at 30%? Will a bad start hurt them later on? Once possible I will definitely move them over to the NR 360 ASAP.

Thank you!!:D

30 is perfect.

You cannot trust a built-in humidity gauge or thermometer on any incubator you buy.
Go to Walmart tomorrow and buy a humidity gauge because I guarantee you yours is reading wrong and if you're humidity is way too high you will have problems.

Thank you!! (and for the quick response too!)

I will make sure to do this. I live pretty far away from a Walmart but ive got a local ace that should be able to help me. Thank you again!
