will my goose notice that i marked her eggs ?

4 year old pilgrim goose has seven eggs in her nest but she’s not broody yet so i marked the seven eggs in case she lays a bunch more so i know which ones are the oldest. i used ink pen and drew a line around each one. will she notice it and reject them?

I do not think so. I have 'dated' eggs in the nests of birds waiting for them to go broody, and none have ever been rejected.

I have marked eggs and swapped eggs out from geese nests. They don't care.

If it's not too late grab some Easter egg dye markers. Mine are 2 years old and still write. Plus they are food grade. (My birds also don't seem to notice the dates.)
