Lexi, you might consider getting a couple of chicks a little later, and raise them very near your hen, so she can see them and will hopefully bond with them. Don't get another cock, get chicks, preferably pullets. All the best, Mary

I can understand ur situation ..because I love my chickens like my kids ..
Just because they both grew up together ur hen might feel roo absence ..give her lots of attention and love maybe this work or u can give her new friend ..
