Will my hen ever lay again?

Several weeks ago, I took my hen to the vet because she had had runny/watery poo and hadn't laid in over a week. The vet said she had a bad case of interitis in her gut and put her on antibiotics. She recovered we'll and is back to her usual self except she still hasn't started laying again. She doesn't seem to be in distress or anything. So my question is will she ever lay again. Or could her illness cave damaged something so she won't be able to lay? And if this is the case, is it still okay to feed her the layer feed like the rest of my hens, or should i switch them to something else and just provide oyster shell? Thanks in advance for any advice.

She should eventually resume as long as she gets better. I personally never feed layer because I don't have to worry about non producing birds consuming all that extra calcium.

She finished her antibiotics a few weeks ago, so I assume she's recovered. But is it okay to keep her on the layer feed with the others for now? We have a 3/4 full bag of layer feed(50lb bag), and I only have 3 hens, so the feed lasts quite a while.

Okay, thanks. If she still hasn't started laying by time the bag is gone, I will buy them a different feed and just provide oyster shell.
