Will my hen remember her chick?

A bit of a complicated situation, but to sum it up, I had a broody raise a few chicks and gave one away when it was about two weeks old. That was three weeks ago. If I reintroduced that chick into the flock, will the hen recognize them?

That I know of no.

Once chicks are like 8 weeks old the momma hen will treat them like any other bird in the flock.

I have a momma hen with her two daughters in the same coop and they act like any random chickens.

If the returning chic looks like the others, then mother hen would most likely not differentiate among the chicks there. They are 5 weeks old now and considerably grown. What may happen,, is the sisters of that chick,,, may see her as a newcomer. The returning chic can also act spooked when returning home.
All this can be overcome by "see but no touch method" of introduction of any chickens to a new flock.
