Will my mallard hen return home

Thank you. Yes, they are secured at night. She went missing on Christmas in the afternoon. I check on them regularly and within half an hour from the last time I saw her she was gone. Me and her brother, Idget, are very sad and we keep looking for her.

Mallards are known to be great mommies so that could be the case. My mallard did the same thing.

It's hard to say if she will come back. For the future, trimming mallards wings is a good idea. It will keep them from flying away.
