Will my rooster be aggressive with chicks?

Hi all! I really want to let my hens hatch some eggs, but I am wondering how my rooster will react to chicks. Has anyone had a problem with this? He is somewhat aggressive toward kids and fights with our medium sized dog(although the dog loves it). Should I be worried that he will be aggressive towards chicks if I allow my hens to hatch some? Will I just need to see how he reacts and then seperate them if need be? Any advice is very much appreciated!! Thank you! Have a great day!!

I think it's hard to predict how adults will react to chicks. I always separate broody hens and their chicks away from all other adult chickens, hen or roo. I figure it's better to be safe than to take a gamble and wind up with dead chicks when I could have prevented it easily.

Is your roo nice to your hens? Does he respect them? What breed is your roo?
