Will my silkie hatch egg?

If I just leave the eggs in my coop will my silkie hen hatch them she laid one and when I went into the coop she wasn't sitting on it would she have adventually? Thanks!

when she goes broody she will be sitting and not want to move off of the egg(s) she may even make noises or try to peck you. I had a broody that if you even lifted the lid to the nest box she would fly up at you and try to flog you

Will she go broody immediately or will it take her a day or two?

You can help her along with some fake eggs in her favorit nest box, you can also use golf balls or plastic easter eggs that way they wont go yucky if they sit out there awhile if it takes her a bit to go broody.
YOu cant make a chicken go broody. Silkies are a nice broody breed so probly come spring she will go broody for you but you cant make them do it on your time.
