My Silver Cuckoo Maran has never laid. She is almost 11 months. Her sisters at the landlords house is laying beutiful chocolate eggs andhas been since the fall. My marans coopmates have been laying since the fall as well but are other varioous breeds. Is it that maybe she is just waiting till spring? Can this be a normal behavior. She is not hiding them as they have been not been free ranging all winter until a few days ago. I have never caught her sitting in the nest boxes like I have the others.No evidence of them eating the eggs as well. Unless its the only ones they are eating. Any oppinions?
