Will not talk

Hi, i have three hens in an urban setting (housing estate). All in and around the same age and two are laying but one seems to be a bit detached from the other two in the run. My problem is she will not talk and when i think back she have never spoke,she does open her mouth from time to time but nothing.Would appreciate and input please. They are approxaimatety six to eight months old and i am new to keeping hens. i do enjoy it. Thanks in advance.

Maybe she has nothing to say?!

Some chickens are just quiet. As long a she is eating, drinking, pooping and shows no sign of illness (lethargy, losing weight, hiding, etc.) then just leave her be. She may eventually make noises, but each one is different.
