I have a little giant foam incubator. I don't want to pay 30 something dollars for a fan. Will a pc computer fan work?? If so how do you hook it up? I need some advice on this because my temperature fluctuates too much. Thank you.

Mike

That is what my DH used in the bator he just built for me. It works great! I have 5 two day old fuzzy butts to prove it!

I do not know how he hooked it up though. If nobody else can tell you I will have him post when he gets home.

I have got to do this

Has anyone replaced a fan that died with a computer fan, in one of my bators, the fan just died

If you have a local Radio Shack nearby..go there. They have an assortment of small, quiet pc fans....they carry the 12 volt fans, and you can buy a "humpback" dc adaptor plug to fire it up with...or you can also buy small 120vac fans as well, that you can wire up and plug right into your wall with out a converter. All the ones I saw were under $22.00

Hope that helps.

PC fans are 12V DC... NOT AC
