Will PC fan work for incubator???

I have 2 of the fans flyweed is talking about. They are 120 volt and work great. They are also quite. I just cut the end off of an extension cord and wired it right in. I plug it into the power strip and off it went. These are about $22.00 each and work well. They also had two sizes at our radio shack. Later, dave27889

It's what I've used for a dozen or so hatches. You could always Freecycle & see if anyone has any old broken PCs laying around & get a fan(s).

I am sitting here looking at not one but 2 pc's that are not being put back together. This means that I will have a fan in my incubator tonight. I can't wait, then I can fill it back up.

Or better yet can you show me one of those converter boxes. Maybe a link where I can buy one. I know I ask alot, I am not good with electronics at all.

do a search. i asked if anyone had one for sale and somone posted a website that you can purchase one that you can plug into a 110 outlet that is just like one you'd buy for much more. i paid the 16.00 and change plus .99 shipping and it's on its way. by the way, i forgot who put the website address up but thanks!!!!!!!!!

I got one guys!!!!! A friend of mine at work who is good at electronics knew exactly what I needed, and he had an extra converter. So I just hooked it up. Im gonna dry run it for a couple days to make sure it keeps a steady temperature. Now I need to find me some cheap fertile eggs. Thanks for all the advice and tips.
