Will Pekín be a good mother

Hi so I am thinking about giving my pekin 2 ducklings of her own she is pretty young she is 4 months and I wanted to make sure that she would be a good mother before I commit to the ducklings also when can I introduce them to her and will she adopt them and what do I do with the male we have

She will not adopt them and the male may try to kill them. You need to raise them till 5 weeks or so separate. Then you could introduce to the hen. You would need to keep the male away from them for at least 4 months and till they are as big as he is.
