Will pet ducks swim in your pool?

If I get ducks in the future will they swim in the swimming pool when they free range even when there is a separate pond for them? For specific breed it is Pekin and Mandarin (if it helps).

Yes, they most likely will I'm afraid. If you have an above ground pool, you may be able to stop at least the pekins by clipping their wings so they can't fly up on the edge.

Yes that can happen and if they don't have a ramp they can reach to come out, they could drown. I don't think you would want duck poo in your swimming pool either.
