Will putting dog poop near the run help deter predators?

Well we have ducks, chickens and kinder goats and I've found that only the coyotes and wolves stay at bay. Our big shephard pees and poohs everywhere even beyond our boundries in the bush that surrounds our place. As for the other pests dog pooh does'nt do it. Electric fences seem to be the best, Although here all our animals are put away at night.
