Hi everyone! This is my first hatch (a batch of guinea hens), and one of my keets was ambitious and hatched this morning. One more has hatched since then and the other two are zipping. I know not to open the incubator while the eggs are zipping, but I'm worried about leaving the first keet in there for too long. Once everyone has hatched, if I open the incubator to remove the dry keet, will it chill the ones who are still drying out?

Thanks for your help!!

The first little guy is trying to bust through the side of the incubator so I guess he's doing well, but it's so hard to resist the urge to slightly lift the lid and grab him! Time to walk away from the incubator...

Just be quick and don't leave the lid off longer than a few seconds. The humidity and temperature should stabilise quickly, but keep an eye on the humidity anyway.
