what i mean by this is will roosters form partnerships with each other.

we have two young cockerals, a BR and a cuckoo maran, the Cuckoo I hatched, the BR we got from TSC during chick days. they're a day or two apart.

and they're ALWAYS together!, they eat together, sleep together, poo together. ect.

none of the other younger birds are like this, but these two are joined at the hip LOL

I know cats will form colalitions, and my call drakes always hang out together.

will they always be like this, and what problems could it cause later on?

they're both gonna be BIG boys.

I've had a few that were really chummy growing up, but when the hormones hit, they weren't so much. I've not had any that were raised together have major issues with each other, though. It's so cute when they are buddies, though!

I've been wondering about this too. I have two Silkie cockerels that arent' related but were hatched together. They're in a pen with two pullets. One is definitely dominant acting and crows MUCH more while the other stays in the background. I've seen them dust bathe side-by-side, just the two of them, and when they sleep the dominant one stands over the two hens and other rooster while the three are laying down together. I hope it can stay this way.

I have 9 Roosters all in one coop and pen..they sleep side by side and sometimes use the other to rest their head on. They are all ages in there from older wiser to hormone enraged teens. My oldest actually protects them.Only 3 have lots to say rest are the silent type.
Oh, they have their squabbles but over all pretty good room mates.
The breeds in that pen are Black Minorca, Red Leghorn, White Leghorn,Cornish Rock,Delaware,EE, and a Splash Jersey Giant so not very many of mine are small.

I have this going on right now also!!

I have 3 Silver Laced Wyandotte Roosters and they work together for everything and are ALWAYS together. It's like that bad clique of girls in high school, they never leave one another sides. They even work together to tackle hens to mate. That is kind of creepy.
